Crown Spa ,Scarborough
I got an email from Deborah in November last year
I had being recommended by my wifes wedding and events company .I was really glad to be doing a Scarborough wedding at last and in a location i was unfamiliar with as i love a challenge .
This was quite short notice for me but also welcome at a quiet time of year ,around six weeks in total so the build up to Christmas and new year out the way ,a few messages back and forth then the day arrived .
Well this was so different to anything i have done before, the confines of a large hotel interior and mass of corridors,i eventually made my way up to the bridal sweet introduced myself to the lovely Deborah while in the middle of getting her hair sorted ,i soon got the ball rolling with the getting ready shots of her and the bridesmaids then made my way next door to Andy the groom all in all straight forward though rooms were a bit confined so after a lot of stretching and bending i was satisfied i got the first shots completed .

Next up was the ceremony so we all headed down with groom ,the room was a typical town hotel high ceilings ,beautifully decorated , oh a wonderful chandelier definitely a focal point in the room ,everything was set and just waiting to get under way although i was wondering whether i was going to struggle with the white balance in the room as it had that yellowish tint no doubt i could alter this in post processing after the day .
Everything went all to plan ,the ceremony went well and i got the shots i needed a few laughs and jokes along the way helps everyone relax job done for that.

The rest of the day went well after that ,i took them both outside for some shots in front of the hotel and a bit further down the road looking over Scarborough bay ,with a lot of congratulations from passers by all making the moment special .
Heading inside for pre dinner drinks then it was a three coarse amazing meal which i was invited to and very welcome it was too.
The evening got under way with the cake cutting usually walk about shots ,first dance etc and a couple of singers including Elvis tribute ,very enjoyable even as i went about my work .
All in all i had a great day made easier by a great couple and family and very willing friends
Thank you for choosing me to be your photographer .
And i wish Andrew and Deborah a very bright future together
