It's Been A While

Its now getting on for early summer and everything seems to be opening up slowly and cautiously .

Once again down to the local population and early season visitors vigilance and doing the right thing we seem to have a low infection rate in this area and things are looking brighter .

From a photography point of view things have being ticking over nicely especially since the daily excercise thing stopped and once again being able to go out and take quality photos of bay and surrounding areas ,unfortunately the few wedding bookings i had have been cancelled

But the future is looking bright i have been using the time and i have probably taken more images in the last year and a half than in the last ten years.

Prints ,all new products and interiors all keeping me busy ,a sign people and businesses are on the road to recovery

One such opportunity came a few weeks ago with an email from the owner of West Royd on Station Road Robin Hood's Bay a 3 room Bnb and Air Bnb.

All i can say is i did some of my best interior photography for a long while and i must admit to being a bit nervous as this was my first shoot for a long time .

Anyway i soon got a grip on things a bit of heavy breathing in a mask and in a few hours i had a nice set of shots to show what a stunning set of rooms combining old world Victorian charm with the advantage of all mod cons.

Well done to Debbie and Philip

I wish you both all the best for the future
